Radiation Therapist

Baylor Scott & White Health, a leading healthcare provider in Texas, seeks an experienced Radiation Therapist to join our team in Temple. This exciting opportunity offers a challenging and rewarding role with opportunities for professional growth and development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing radiation therapy procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the general supervision of a Radiation Oncologist. This includes maintaining high-quality imaging procedures, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring accurate documentation.

• Perform high-quality radiation therapy procedures according to exam protocol.
• Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and protocols.
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection control, drug and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques.
• Instruct and communicate with patients and their families regarding the test to be performed and assess patient's ability to tolerate the exam.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $85,000 per year.
