Medical Professional Wanted for Pain Management Team

Southwest Florida Pain Center, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physician Assistant to join our team of medical professionals dedicated to reducing or eliminating pain using the latest interventional pain management techniques.
We offer a state-of-the-art on-site surgical suite, providing unmatched convenience and precision. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and we are looking for a like-minded individual to join us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health by conducting thorough interviews and physical examinations, and reviewing medical histories.
- Determine abnormal conditions by ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and MRIs.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient electronic records.
- Perform therapeutic procedures as needed, under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Instruct and counsel patients on therapeutic regimens and provide continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.
- Prescribe medication as needed, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide assistance to physicians during medical procedures and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and techniques by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
Essential Requirements:
- Completion of a PA program.
- PA license.
- Current DEA certificate.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with Windows, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience with an EMR preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
