About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team at Precision Grinding. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for reading and understanding engineering drawings, layouts, and fitting parts for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and understand engineering drawings, layouts, and specifications
  • Fabricate and assemble parts using various materials and equipment
  • Weld and fit parts to precise specifications
  • Operate and maintain fabrication equipment, including welding machines, hand burning torches, and other machinery
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all aspects of fabrication
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or certificate in welding preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in fabrication, fitting, and welding
  • Knowledge of fabrication equipment, including welding machines, hand burning torches, and other machinery
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, layouts, and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
