Electrical and Controls Engineering Manager

A leading fabricator is seeking an experienced Electrical and Controls Engineering Manager to join their team in Newark, DE.

This role will provide technical support to customers and engineering staff, as well as expertise on projects from bid preparation to final acceptance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing controls systems, including Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, and experience with PLC and HMI programming.

Key responsibilities include estimating, scheduling, and cost tracking, as well as resolving issues and discrepancies.

The successful candidate will also serve as a liaison with design personnel, vendors, field forces, and customers.

Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in manufacturing controls systems
  • PLC and HMI Programming experience
  • Electrical Process Controls experience
  • Understanding of electrical power distribution
  • Understanding of NEC / NFPA 70, and UL 508A
