Key Responsibilities- Inspect loads to ensure materials are free from debris such as concrete, dirt, trash, etc.
- Perform quality checks to prevent hazardous materials, such as propane tanks or gasoline tanks, from entering the processing stream.
- Ensure customers do not leave the yard with any material not belonging to them.
- Direct traffic for all trucks in and out of the facility.
- Other job duties as assigned.
- Basic skills to handle day-to-day tasks efficiently.
- High attention to detail to catch even the smallest discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment where juggling multiple tasks is the norm.
- Ability to spend long periods of time walking/standing.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
