Nurse Specialist

At Mount Carmel, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. As a Nurse Specialist - Wound Management, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients with complex wounds, ostomies, or incontinence.
About the Job:
- Provide coordination of clinical care in Wound Care, manage patient schedules, and collaborate with preplanned services to coordinate patient scheduling.
- Manage productivity, serve as a clinical resource to the team, and provide expertise to staff in managing complex wounds, ostomies, or incontinence.
- Establish priorities for patient care, develop standards, policies, procedures, and practice guidelines, and provide input to budget and program variance.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with departmental staff, preplanned services, clinical departments, physicians, and office practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure accurate charging, assist with labor, supply, and equipment control.
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities focusing on patient outcomes, unit operations, regulatory compliance, risk management, and continuous quality improvement.
- Maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
