The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team in Canton, SD. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Responsibilities- Provide resident-centered care, including daily living assistance, bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing.
- Assist with basic health care needs, such as vital sign monitoring, and provide psychosocial support to assigned residents.
- Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
