Job Description:

The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities. The teacher will also modify teaching methods and materials to accommodate students' individual learning styles, abilities, and challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with disabilities.
  • Modify teaching methods and materials to accommodate students' individual learning styles, abilities, and challenges.
  • Create a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment that fosters learning and social development for all students.
  • Work closely with general education teachers, parents, specialists, and other staff to ensure students' needs are met across all settings.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Wisconsin state certification in Special Education.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or related field.
