Supplemental Health Care collaborates with educational districts to employ a 1:1 school nurse in the local area. As a school-based RN with SHC, you will receive support from our specialized Schools Center of Excellence, a team of professionals who understand the unique requirements of school nursing.
1:1 School Nurse Contract Details:
- Compensation: $36 per hour
- This position involves providing individualized medical care to a student throughout the school day, adhering to the student’s medical diagnosis and care plan.
- The contract is valid for the current academic year.
- Responsibilities include following medical care plans, IEP/504 plans, and communicating effectively with the special education team and student caregivers.
- Daily documentation is required.
- The RN will be matched with a student based on their medical acuity experience.
- Duties may include bus runs, field trips, and care for students with specific health needs such as behavioral care, seizures, diabetes, allergies, asthma, trach care, vent care, and g-tubes.
