Role Responsibilities:
- Operate our advanced 2023 Mercedes Sprinter van to reach scheduled appointments, equipped with the latest technology for comfort.
- Deliver expert grooming services, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling, tailored to client preferences and breed standards.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming by utilizing gentle handling methods and positive reinforcement.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of each pet's coat, skin, and overall health, communicating any concerns to the owners.
- Inform pet owners about effective grooming techniques and recommend suitable products for home care.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming van, ensuring all tools and supplies are sanitized and in good condition.
- Manage appointments efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals and maximizing productivity.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and friendliness.
- A genuine passion for animals.
- Demonstrated experience as a professional pet groomer, with knowledge of various grooming techniques and breed-specific styles.
- Required grooming license for serviced areas.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, capable of safely operating a grooming van.
- Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments with care.
- Strong communication skills, fostering rapport with pet owners and delivering excellent service.
- Attention to detail, ensuring high-quality grooming results.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, based on demand.
- Certification from a recognized grooming school is preferred.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and manage larger dogs temporarily.
