Senior Tax Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at Solomon Page. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a critical role in meeting the Company's tax compliance and reporting needs, specifically in the direct tax area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax filing trackers, correspondence trackers, and payment trackers.
  • Assist in coordinating and ensuring the timely filing of federal, state, and local income tax returns, including reviewing workpapers prepared by external service providers.
  • Manage Fixed Assets using Sage Fixed Assets.
  • Prepare CA SMLLC returns and business licenses renewal filings.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly partnership taxable income projections.
  • Conduct tax research projects and prepare memos.
  • Assist in resolving federal, state, and local tax notices and audits.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • 2-3 years of experience in public accounting.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite and MS Excel.
