Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations: Operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, count, unload, and load merchandise within the warehouse.
  • Inventory Management: Verify quantities, lot numbers, and production code dates against manifests and driver documents, reporting any discrepancies to supervision.
  • Product Preparation: Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring that the product comes from the proper locations and that the quantities and lot numbers agree with the picking documents.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect equipment daily and verify that it is operational and meets safety requirements before the day's activity starts, reporting any issues to supervision.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and reports to maintain inventory control and security.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior forklift experience and safe driving operations.
  • Physical Demands: Standing 4-8 hours a day, walking short periods, lifting, occasional heavy lifting, and pushing/pulling.
  • Cognitive Abilities: Detail-oriented and results-driven, with simple problem-solving skills and organized.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to speak, read, and understand the English language.
