Key Responsibilities
This Senior Stormwater Design Professional will be responsible for:
• Developing and implementing cutting-edge stormwater management strategies that reduce flooding and improve water quality
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate stormwater design into site architecture and enhance overall project outcomes
• Conducting field work and site visits to inform design decisions and ensure successful project execution
• Designing and analyzing riverine and open stormwater conveyances, as well as stormwater management facilities to meet peak flow rate detention requirements
• Creating FEMA Flood Studies, CLOMR/LOMR letters, and No-Rise certifications to support regulatory compliance
• Developing and analyzing proposed design solutions to meet client needs and project goals
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and improvement in stormwater design

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
• A four-year bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field
• 5-10 years of experience in water resources and design, with a focus on stormwater management
• Strong expertise in AutoCAD and other relevant software tools
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivation and a drive to continuously improve yourself, your team, and the community
• Ability and desire to be licensed in Texas within 4 months

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with stormwater, floodplain, and watershed modeling, as well as knowledge of common stormwater regulations and permitting requirements, is highly desirable. Additionally, proficiency in Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro, and HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS is preferred.

What We Offer
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
