We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Allina Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing technical and diagnostic imaging functions in an inpatient setting under the direction of the radiologist.
Key Responsibilities- Completes procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines
- Identifies patients with two identifiers and documents accurately all needed aspects of the procedure
- Observes and communicates with patients, responding to their needs and maintaining a safe patient environment in the procedure area
- Performs procedures with a high degree of accuracy and demonstrates appropriate knowledge of all diagnostic equipment
- Provides accurate clerical functions, including using Excellian (electronic medical record) and understanding the Enterprise Medical Imaging/Picture Archiving and Communication System
- Communicates with supervisors and team members, reporting problems, issues, or ideas and providing assistance, ideas, and information to support the work of others
- Vocational or technical training graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Experience in radiology preferred
- Registered Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required, must be registered upon hire
- BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required upon hire
Medium Work: Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently
