Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Traditions of Dedham. As a key member of our Resident Care Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and supporting the overall well-being of our community.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Resident Care Director with the management of the community, including direct supervision of Resident Care Associates and monitoring emerging health needs of residents.
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Participate in community marketing efforts to promote our community and attract new residents.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and sharps disposal programs, and participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices.
Requirements
  • Current LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
  • At least two years of experience in a geriatric setting, with previous health experience in hospital and/or community settings.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
