Raising a child with a developmental disability is a challenging journey that requires knowledge, patience, and support. At Sevita, we provide in-home early intervention services for infants and toddlers to help them naturally learn and develop. Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Specialized Infant Developmental Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves planning, scheduling, and providing weekly early educational in-home services for a caseload of infant/toddlers with disabilities, including developmental delays and programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.
  • The ideal candidate will administer and document all program assessments and updates accurately to meet timelines. They will design, implement, and adapt activities for language, cognitive, fine and gross motor, sensory, self-help, and social/emotional development, tailored to each individual child, utilizing best practices.
  • This role also involves modeling effective adult-child interactions and providing written information on parenting, child development, and coaching parents on how to support their child's growth. The successful candidate will monitor, document, and share the child's progress with the family and team.
Qualifications:
  • An Associate's Degree or at least 60 college units in Human Services related field is required. We prefer candidates with one to two year's experience working with infants or young children and their parents.
  • A valid driver's license in good standing and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance is necessary.
  • Candidates should possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills to manage relationships and a compassionate approach are essential.
Compensation:
  • We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A full compensation/benefits package for employees working 30+ hours/week, including health insurance, paid time off, and holiday pay.
