Job Overview

We are seeking a board-eligible/board-certified general psychiatrist to join our well-established comprehensive community behavioral health outpatient program in Northwestern Pennsylvania.

About the Role

As a general psychiatrist, you will be part of a collaborative and team-oriented work environment with collegiality and nursing support. You will join a group of experienced professionals, including two full-time psychiatrists, two additional psychiatrists, and six advanced practice providers (APPs), to provide a continuum of care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to manage patient care and provide support as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of program policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Board-eligible/board-certified in psychiatry
  • Preferably 2-5 years of experience in a community mental health setting
  • Ability to work primarily with adult and geriatric patients
  • Strong interest in community mental health and serious mental illness
