Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient conditions, including vital signs, medications, and treatments.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current California RN license and maintain current.
- Current AHA BLS and AHS ACLS certifications and maintain current.
- Ability to possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
- One year acute care-related experience.
- Able to transfer and lift patients as necessary.
- Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
