Job Summary

Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies, is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Operate a 24' Box Truck: You will be responsible for safely operating a 24' box truck with air brakes up to 25,999 GVW, ensuring the safe transportation of goods to customers.
  • Load and Unload Cargo: You will load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate, ensuring that all goods are properly secured and delivered to customers.
  • Track and Document Activity: You will properly track and document activity logs, ensuring that all deliveries are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Communicate with Customers: You will communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all customer needs are met.
Requirements
  • Valid DOT Medical Card: You must have a valid DOT medical card or be able to pass a DOT medical exam.
  • 1 Year of Route Delivery Experience: You must have at least 1 year of experience in route delivery, with a proven track record of safely operating a delivery vehicle.
  • Manual Pallet Jack and Hand Truck Experience: You must have experience using manual pallet jacks and hand trucks, with the ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted.
  • Lift Gate Experience: You must have experience using lift gates, with the ability to safely operate and secure the gate.
