We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team on a weekend option night shift. As a RN in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining professional accountability for the provision of patient care for assigned patients.
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information, performing duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
