Insight Global is seeking a skilled Journeyman HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Austin, Texas. As a key member of our mechanical construction company, you will be responsible for completing service contracts, quoted projects, and demand service calls as directed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers and provide clear explanations of work performed to their satisfaction.
  • Diagnose HVAC system performance through observation, testing, and setup as required by trade/position and type/size of equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Journeyman license or 5+ years of experience servicing HVAC systems.
  • High School Diploma/GED; Technical degree preferred.
  • Advanced HVAC Unitary and Pumps and Piping Systems skills.
  • Knowledgeable in HVAC airside skills, specifically VFD theory and Air Handler theory.
  • Advanced knowledge of service processes, techniques, codes, and brand-specific controls.
  • Willing and able to join local 286 union.
