Overview:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for section cutting, embedding, frozen section, special staining, and other technical tasks related to histology.
  • The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of the technical aspects of histology and be able to take initiative in performing and promoting quality and efficiency within the department.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes full-time and permanent employment, shift flexibility (Sunday through Thursday 10:00pm-6:30am for technicians or evenings for supervisors), full benefits (PTO, health insurance, life insurance, 401k, etc.), and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Histology Technician or Supervisor with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, interact responsibly with other clerical and technical staff, and promote quality and efficiency within the department.

Requirements:

  • College graduate with a degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, chemistry, or a related field)
  • ASCP certification (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience and knowledge in histology
