Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembly Specialist to join our team at Aerotek. As an Electrical Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for the complete mechanical and electrical assembly of units from start to finish using a variety of hand/power tools. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, as well as knowledge of computers (Excel, PC knowledge, and data entry).
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret schematics, wire diagrams, and service manuals to build units.
Layout and build control panels (PLC, drives - not programming).
Assemble conveyors, install motors, and build panel boards.
Troubleshoot and repair components.
Requirements:
Mechanical and electrical assembly experience.
Strong knowledge of computers (Excel, PC knowledge, and data entry).
Ability to read and understand new programs.
Work Environment:
This is a fully on-site position in a climate-controlled assembly area and warehouse. The work environment is 8am-5pm, with a 1-hour lunch break.
