We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Kewadin Casinos. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food products in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring high-quality dishes for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food products, including soups, sauces, hot entrees, pastas, and vegetables, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist in preparing and cooking for banquets, employee meals, and other special functions.
- Provide attentive, cheerful, courteous, and professional customer service to all guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
- Work closely with other cooks to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
- Monitor food temperatures and notify management of any issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Previous food and beverage preparation experience in a high-volume operation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
- Basic math skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Sanitation Certificate required within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
