ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are in search of a Mortgage Loan Originator with a solid sales background. If you possess an entrepreneurial mindset and are eager for substantial income potential, this role may align with your career aspirations. Responsibilities include:
  • Originate mortgage, land, and construction loans.
  • Promote mortgage products as a professional sales representative through various channels.
  • Engage in sales calls and networking with potential referral partners.
  • Collaborate with Community Assistant Vice Presidents and Business Development Officers to establish new relationships.
  • Meet documentation and production goals as set by the AVP of Real Estate Sales.
  • Must be or become registered as an MLO and possess a nationwide Mortgage Licensing Number.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in business or a related field is preferred. Must be or become registered as an MLO and have a Nationwide Licensing Number.
EXPERIENCE:
  • One to two years of relevant loan processing and sales experience; a background in real estate is advantageous.
SKILLS:
  • Understanding of credit worthiness assessment.
  • Knowledge of company loan policies, products, procedures, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Familiarity with title reports, insurance, and appraisals.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage finances effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and public relations skills.
  • Excellent sales and organizational capabilities.
  • Well-organized and adept at problem-solving.
  • Proficient in using computer tracking systems.
