We are seeking a skilled Solar Repair Technician to join our team at Purelight Power. As a key member of our solar installation and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our solar systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of rooftop and ground-mounted solar systems, including flashing, racking, module-level power electronics, and array wiring.
- Work on roofs, ladders, crawlspaces, attics, and other residential and commercial areas, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Pull materials accurately based on construction plans and follow technical installation instructions.
- Fill in for the Lead Installer when needed and provide support to the team as required.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and testing of system components, and maintain a clean job site and work truck.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools, as well as common solar installation practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and climb ladders and work on roofs up to a 45-degree pitch.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and maintain a professional attitude.
Compensation: $20-$24 per hour.
