Travel Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support school districts nationwide. As a Travel SLP, you will have the opportunity to work in diverse school environments, providing specialized speech and language services to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized speech and language therapy to students with specific needs, including assessments, goal-setting, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Conduct speech and language screenings, provide consultations, and develop strategies to support students' communication skills across the school environment.
  • Serve as a key contact between families, school staff, and healthcare providers to ensure cohesive and comprehensive support for students.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports in line with state and district guidelines.
  • Educate students, parents, and school staff on speech and language development, as well as strategies to support communication goals.
Requirements:
  • Active and unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in good standing.
  • Experience in school settings is highly preferred, but not required. Open to CFs.
  • Familiarity with providing speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility to adapt to different school environments.
