Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a RN in the Emergency Department, with a strong background in critical care. You will be responsible for delivering patient care to a mainly geriatric population, using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will also direct and guide patient teaching, activities of ancillary personnel, and maintain standards of professional nursing.
Responsibilities- Deliver patient care to a mainly geriatric population using the nursing process

- Maintain standards of professional nursing
- Participate in relevant continuing education programs
- Maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a RN in the Emergency Department
- Critical care background preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Completion of a fully accredited Certification Surgical Tech program
- Active unencumbered RN Massachusetts state license
- Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
- TNCC Certification required
