Key Responsibilities
  • Follow a comprehensive make-ready checklist to complete necessary repairs and improvements to apartment homes.
  • Inspect and repair sheetrock, caulk and seal windows and fixtures, and perform touch-up painting.
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment needed for make-ready tasks.
  • Cut expenses by repairing rather than replacing parts and minimizing waste.
  • Assist with property curb appeal by performing general cleaning, painting, and other tasks as needed.
  • Comply with safety and risk-management policies by participating in safety meetings and reporting accidents and incidents promptly.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by treating residents and others with respect and completing assigned work efficiently.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • General knowledge of skilled trades, including construction, repair, and maintenance.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
