Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this position is between $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure may vary based on individual circumstances, and it's essential to discuss salary specifics during the application and hiring process.
Job DescriptionAs a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic procedures (GIs, GUs, pediatrics, arthrograms, spine center).
- Producing images of optimal quality for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
- Maintaining documentation requirements to ensure that all technical data is entered timely and accurately.
- Notifying management and taking proper action to address equipment malfunctions.
- Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
You will also have the opportunity to gain experience in several imaging modalities and care settings, including emergency and trauma imaging. Our technologists thrive in a fast-paced, busy environment and are reliable, collaborative, and communicative team players.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT), in good standing.
- Current state licensure required prior to employment.
- (BLS) certification required.
