Pharmacist - Clinical Expert

The Pharmacist will be responsible for supervising and providing pharmaceutical care to patients in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of recent experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide medication management services to patients, including dispensing and supervising medications in accordance with legal requirements and hospital policy.
Screen and prioritize orders, dispense stat, now, and initial doses as needed, and check Pyxis loads and refills.
Confirm delivery of medications, check IV admixture products, and prepare and/or check chemotherapy admixtures.
Assist with medication reconciliation, document items needed to be purchased in the want book, and prepare and dispense employee prescriptions when needed.
Compound medications as required, provide total parenteral nutritional services, and process samples.
Requirements:
2 years of recent experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting.
BLS certification.
Idaho Pharmacy license.
Work Schedule:
Shifts will be 5 eight-hour shifts, with one weekend shift every 5th or so, and rotating call.
