Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role involves direct engagement with project management to implement innovative projects, oversee change management, and collaborate with technical services and operations teams to facilitate new project installations, including updates to packaging and supply chain equipment.


Key Responsibilities:


- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategic action plans and provide cost estimates for materials, labor, and resources necessary for project completion.

- Drive the creation and refinement of project plans and designs.
- Evaluate and recommend materials, equipment, and methodologies pertinent to the project.
- Assess vendor capabilities, resources, and financial health.
- Analyze project costs against initial estimates to ensure budget adherence.
- Investigate equipment, systems, and processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, quality enhancements, and cost reductions.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant codes, guidelines, and best practices.
- Collaborate with safety, operations, and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve issues.

Qualifications:


- 3-5 years of experience in project engineering or project management.

- Background in industrial or systems engineering with an interest in project management is acceptable.
- Experience in the food, grocery, retail, agriculture, or technology sectors is preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO 9000 design standards is advantageous.
