Trauma-Informed Practitioner

Kennedy Services is seeking a passionate Trauma-Informed Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our residential program, you will work closely with child survivors of trafficking and sexual trauma, providing individual and group therapy sessions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary treatment teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based models and trauma-informed practices.
- Provide crisis prevention and intervention support, ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge plans, ensuring a smooth transition to community-based care.
- Participate in ongoing staff training and professional development initiatives, enhancing your skills and knowledge.
- Masters degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
- Valid clinical license in Maryland (LMSW and/or LGPC).
- Proven experience working with child survivors of trauma and abuse.
- Cultural competency in working with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
