Position Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing daily financial operations, including monitoring bank transactions, managing billing processes, and ensuring accurate credit and collections. The role involves auditing accounts for correct postings and executing month-end entries, accruals, and necessary adjustments. Additionally, the analyst will report weekly operational statistics to management and confirm backlog status.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and post daily banking transactions.
  • Manage inventory transfers and adjustments effectively.
  • Ensure pricing aligns with target profit margins.
  • Conduct weekly collection calls and provide updates to the team.
  • Process customer credit applications, including reference checks and credit report evaluations.
  • Maintain inventory records within the ERP system.
  • Document daily production activities.
  • Reconcile and clear month-end intercompany transactions from accounts payable and receivable aging reports.
  • Post monthly entries from corporate financial sheets, including various insurance entries.
  • Verify accruals and other month-end postings.
  • Record depreciation and manage asset disposals or additions.
  • Reconcile ERP inventory counts with physical warehouse counts and conduct recounts as necessary.
  • Assist in the annual inventory audit process.
  • Manage customer invoicing processes.
  • Upload positive pay files to the bank for issued checks.
  • Review and resolve any positive pay exceptions.
  • Record customer payments and attach payment remittances in the accounting system.

Education and Experience
