Compensation and Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding across various product lines, including Winch, Wagner, Long Reach, Dozer, Freeman, and Marine Crane, utilizing both manual and semi-automatic welding techniques.
  • Accurately measure and fit metal components to comply with engineering specifications.
  • Utilize grinders and saws to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts as per engineering drawings.
  • Interpret welding blueprints and execute layout for welding and fitting tasks.
  • Prepare weldments for integration into structural fabricated products.
  • Conduct quality checks on metal components prior to assembly, ensuring adherence to dimensional and strength requirements.
  • Maintain physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, sitting in awkward positions, and bending.

Qualifications:

  • 60-70% experience in fitting
  • Proficient in welding thick metals (mild/raw steel) with a minimum of 2 years of MIG welding experience
  • Educational background in Welding Technology or equivalent hands-on training (Certification is advantageous but not mandatory)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols, along with strong mathematical skills
  • Familiarity with various welding wire sizes
  • Basic math skills are essential
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced production environment
  • Knowledge of jib and overhead cranes is preferred
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to work additional hours as needed
  • Must successfully pass background checks and drug screenings
  • Adherence to safety protocols and willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) is required
