Procurement Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing/Sourcing professional to join our team at Jet Technologies. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality materials and supplies to support our manufacturing operations.Key Responsibilities

v Collaborate with Engineering and Sales to identify and source new suppliers and vendors.

v Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors.

v Prepare and process purchase orders for raw materials, supplies and equipment on a timely basis.

v Ensure inventory is accurately maintained at appropriate levels and work with relevant departments to determine future needs. Analyze inventory levels as demands change.

v Minimize obsolete materials.

v Regularly communicate with Production and Sales regarding raw material schedules and possible shortages

v Monthly cycle counts, month-end inventory reporting and variance reports.

v Negotiate vendor price reductions.

v Maintain the best possible terms, pricing and programs.

Requirements

v 5+ years of Previous purchasing experience

v Work experience in strategic sourcing

v Ability to leading successful supplier negotiations

v Excellent written and verbal communication skills

v Organizational and problem-solving skills

v Strong Computer skills (Microsoft Office, AS400)

v Multi-task and perform under deadline driven environment

v Knowledge of hardware components (hinges, latches, fasteners, stainless steel components, etc.), electrical components (lighting, switching, wiring, etc.) and packaging supplies.

v Review and understand prints

v Ability to adapt to changing schedules
