Floor Care Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Floor Care Specialist is essential in maintaining the integrity and safety of flooring across the facility, ensuring a secure environment for patients and their families during their stay.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountable for the thorough cleaning and upkeep of all flooring surfaces within the facility. The Floor Care Specialist will implement safety protocols to protect residents and staff during cleaning operations. Additionally, this role may involve other tasks as directed by supervisory personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Must have, at a minimum, a High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D. Proficiency in speaking, understanding, and writing in English is required. Preference will be given to candidates with two years of experience in Carpet and Vinyl Plank maintenance, as well as prior experience as a Floor Technician in a long-term care setting.
