Travel MRI Imaging Technologist Position in Portland, Oregon

Focus Staff is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist to join our team at Oregon Health & Science University Hospital in Portland, OR. This is a 13-week contract position with competitive pay and benefits.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing patient studies according to set protocol
- Operating imaging and other equipment devices to provide quality diagnostic services
- Interviewing patients to explain procedures and addressing concerns
- Ensuring patient and staff safety during procedures
- Orienting new hires and training MRI Technologists, students, and trainees
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Two years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist
- A valid license in the required state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II
- Strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety
- Effective oral and written communication skills
