QualificationsWe are looking for an individual who is eager to develop into a supervisory position overseeing the maintenance of our properties in the Richmond area and beyond. The candidate should possess practical skills and a willingness to learn diverse maintenance techniques. Training will be provided to prepare you for future leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular assessments of building systems, equipment, and facilities to pinpoint maintenance requirements and safety concerns.
- Assist in the repair and upkeep of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other essential systems under the supervision of experienced technicians.
- Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting for issues such as leaks, malfunctions, or damages.
- Support the installation of new equipment, fixtures, and building components.
- Execute preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules, including lubricating machinery, changing filters, and inspecting fire safety systems.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization in maintenance areas, storage spaces, and equipment.
- Help maintain appropriate inventory levels of maintenance supplies and tools.
- Respond efficiently to maintenance requests from occupants or management, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment for oneself and others.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and external contractors as necessary for larger projects or specialized tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment inspections.
