We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Nursing Faculty member to join our team at Arizona College of Nursing. As a Nursing Faculty, you will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of nursing professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement curriculum for nursing programs
- Teach and evaluate students in the classroom and clinical settings
- Lead simulation learning experiences and design effective learning environments
- Support students' progression in academics and socialization into the role of nursing
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the development of program policies
- Maintain a presence on campus and contribute to the campus culture
- Graduate degree in nursing or a related field
- Minimum of three years' experience as a professional registered nurse providing direct patient care
- Previous experience teaching in a registered nursing program at a college or university is preferred
- Holds a current unencumbered state professional registered nurse license or enhance compact nurse licensure relevant to the state of teaching location
- Certified Nurse Educator certification and national certification in area of nursing specialty is preferred
