Key Responsibilities of the Retail Operations Supervisor:
- Support management in daily store functions, ensuring an exceptional customer service experience.
- Oversee store openings, closings, and shift transitions.
- Manage cash register operations, including spot checks, end-of-shift cash reconciliations, void processing, and deposits.
- Ensure staff members arrive punctually in complete, clean uniforms, including nametags.
- Report staff tardiness and absences to management.
- Ensure customers are greeted promptly and served by well-trained associates.
- Effectively manage customer lines.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing training and coaching to the team.
- Assign daily tasks to sales associates and keep them informed about daily sales objectives.
- Maintain strong product knowledge and ensure proper stock replenishment and rotation.
- Uphold housekeeping standards (e.g., dusting, folding, sweeping, mopping).
- Stay vigilant to prevent theft and enforce policies to control internal shrinkage.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to manage and assist in planning daily activities with leadership.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a retail supervisory role.
- Strong delegation skills.
- Experience in providing supervision and support to store personnel.
- Approachable and interactive leadership qualities.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time-management and multitasking abilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
