We are seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our team at Montefiore Medical Center. As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide professional nursing care to assigned patients, assessing their needs and developing individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians, and supervise nursing attendants and ancillary staff in patient care activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
- One (1) year of acute care RN experience is required; exceptional recent graduates will be considered.
- Two years of RN experience in Medical / Surgical, Telemetry, or Emergency Department experience preferred.
- New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.
- BSN Degree preferred.
- BLS/ACLS/PALS Training.
- Infection Control Training.
- Certification in specialty preferred.
- Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems.
