Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy in Yorktown, VA. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to students in a supportive educational environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention strategies that support students' academic and social success
  • Monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Document and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress, utilizing electronic health records and other tools as needed
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state licensure or ability to obtain VA state licensure
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to collaboration and mutual support
