Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team at AMN Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical procedures and technologies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license.
  • Minimum of 12 months of recent nursing experience in an operating room setting.
  • Valid BLS certification and ACLS certification may be required in designated departments.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods.
