**Job Summary**

The City of York is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Parking Enforcement Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enforcing parking regulations and ensuring the smooth flow of traffic in our city.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce parking regulations by issuing parking tickets and directing traffic
  • Perform patrol duties and maintain focus on offending vehicles
  • Provide information to offenders on how to pay for tickets
  • Direct traffic, give directions, and report accidents as needed
  • Act as a cashier for the City garage, handling cash and providing change to customers

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Class C driver's license issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • Under and including six months of relative experience
  • Must pass a background check, drug test, and PA Child Abuse History Clearance check
