About the Job

The U.S. Army is seeking skilled individuals to fill the role of Carpentry and Masonry Specialist. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures using a variety of materials, including lumber, concrete, stones, and bricks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct and repair buildings, bridges, and other structures using hand and power tools.
  • Use a variety of materials, including lumber, concrete, stones, and bricks, to complete construction projects.
  • Work with combat engineers to build structures that can withstand rough terrain and environmental hazards.
  • Participate in testing and certification programs to ensure compliance with Army standards.
Requirements
  • Age: Between 17-35 years old.
  • Medical, Moral, Physical: Medically and physically capable, and in good moral standing.
  • Citizenship: A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card (I-551).
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent.
About the U.S. Army
