The U.S. Army is seeking skilled individuals to fill the role of Carpentry and Masonry Specialist. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures using a variety of materials, including lumber, concrete, stones, and bricks.
Key Responsibilities- Construct and repair buildings, bridges, and other structures using hand and power tools.
- Use a variety of materials, including lumber, concrete, stones, and bricks, to complete construction projects.
- Work with combat engineers to build structures that can withstand rough terrain and environmental hazards.
- Participate in testing and certification programs to ensure compliance with Army standards.
- Age: Between 17-35 years old.
- Medical, Moral, Physical: Medically and physically capable, and in good moral standing.
- Citizenship: A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card (I-551).
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent.
The U.S. Army is a branch of the U.S. military that is responsible for land-based military operations. The Army is composed of two distinct components: the Active component and the Reserve component.
Active ComponentAs an active-duty Soldier, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day military operations with a specialized skillset in a specific field. You will develop skills for your Army job, or Military Occupation Specialty (MOS), while also spending time with loved ones or pursuing other personal activities.
