We are seeking a qualified Music Affiliate Instructor to join our team at Metropolitan State University of Denver. The successful candidate will teach music courses and provide academic support to students.
Responsibilities- Teach music courses in a studio or classroom setting
- Prepare course materials and lesson plans
- Grade student work and provide feedback
- Address student questions and concerns
- Provide academic support to students as needed
A Master's degree in Music or a Bachelor's degree with significant local recognition is required. ABD or a Master's degree in Music with significant local recognition is preferred.
Terms of EmploymentAffiliate faculty are part-time, at-will employees hired to teach on a per credit hour basis for specific classes. The number of teaching assignments varies from semester to semester, depending on the needs of the program.
