We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Barista Team Lead to join our team at Thrive Services Group. As a key member of our coffee team, you will be responsible for promoting coffee consumption, educating customers on our company mission and vision, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Welcome customers by determining their coffee interests and needs, maintaining a positive attitude at all times.
• Educate customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu and answering questions.
• Prepare and sell coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as espresso, latte, and cappuccino.
• Generate revenues by attracting new customers.
• Maintain inventory by replenishing coffee bean supply, stocking coffee brewing equipment, and maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies.
• Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
• Perform assigned cleaning duties before, during, and after the shift.
• Assist in building customer relationships and guest recovery.
• Open and close the store, count and close the cash drawer after closing, and bundle money in the safe for deposit.
• Assist store management with any additional duties.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of coffee or food service experience required.
• Prior coffee shop experience preferred.
• Maricopa County Food Handler card required.
• ServSafe Food Manager Certification required.
• Experience with telephone, office, and point-of-sale software.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
