Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Sundance Mountain Resort. As a Prep Cook, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and sanitary preparation of food items for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare food items in accordance with recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the organization and storage of food deliveries.
  • Operate kitchen equipment, including stoves, ovens, and fryers.
  • Label and date food preparation, adhering to FIFO principles.
  • Store prepared foods in designated areas.
  • Participate in cleaning procedures for kitchen equipment.
  • Support recycling efforts and minimize food waste.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior experience necessary, but basic knowledge of commercial kitchens and food production is desired.
  • Must possess or obtain a current food handlers permit within 30 days of employment.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
