Senior Government Contracts Specialist - El Segundo, CAWe are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Government Contracts Specialist to join our team in El Segundo, CA. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities:- Lead the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of government contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Analyze cost estimates, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Review contractual documents for adherence to company policy, government regulations, and master agreements.
- Provide expert advice to management on contractual rights and obligations, interpreting terms and conditions.
- Contribute to the development of budgets, schedules, and performance standards.
- Extensive expertise in Federal, DoD, Air Force, and SSC contracting processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to assist government agencies with all aspects of contract actions, including solicitations, change proposals, funding modifications, awards, and incentive fee management.
- Prior experience as a PCO or buyer is highly preferred.
- Highly desirable: past or present experience with SSC or mission partner space control or space situational awareness programs.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree with 15 years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree with 13 years of relevant experience.
- PhD or Juris Doctorate degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
